Dear Parents/interested parties,
Callerton Academy is a key part of the City Council’s school place strategy, and will provide additional school places at secondary school level for the increased pupil numbers coming through local primary schools. In addition, the new school will serve the increase in population from new housing developments, especially in the Lower, Middle and Upper Callerton and Kenton Bank Foot areas.
The school will be an 11-16 (year groups 7 to 11) school, with a proposed opening date of September 2020. The exact site has not been finalised, but it is hoped that this will be agreed in the very near future.
We would like to invite expressions of interest, via email, for the future school from parents in the area. Please title your email: CALLERTON ACADEMY. Send your email to admin@ga.newcastle.sch.uk and state the following:

- Telephone number
- Email address
- Number of children
- Date/s of birth of child/children
